Celebrating Our 2023 Community Champion: Quality Automotive!

The BEC recently rolled out the red carpet for our Blairstown business community at the annual BEC Business Champions Celebration, held this year on February 21st at the Blairstown Masonic Lodge #165. This anticipated event is our way of shining a spotlight on the amazing individuals, businesses, and organizations that have lent their support to the BEC throughout the past year.
The evening was a vibrant mix of networking, melody, and merriment, set against the backdrop of live tunes from the talented local duo, “Exit 12.” Our guests were treated to an assortment of delightful bites courtesy of Dragonfly Fare Private Catering, ensuring a night of engaging conversations and relaxed camaraderie.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the “2023 Community Champion Award” to Quality Automotive. Their commitment to our cause was truly inspiring, with a generous donation of $3,130 to the BEC, contributed from $5 of every oil change they performed last year. Their dedication doesn't stop here; they've vowed to continue their support through 2024, a gesture that speaks volumes about their community spirit.
In the same vein of generosity, Evelyn Tilney of Kienlen Lattmann Sotheby's International Realty announced her pledge to donate a portion of her 2024 earnings from any new buyer or seller referrals to the BEC’s Footbridge Skate & Arts Park project. Actions like these exemplify the spirit of giving that defines our community.
