Blairstown Festivals

One of the key aspects of the BEC purpose is to bring the community together. What better way than to hold a festival, or two, or three! Learn about our Spring Festival, “Bedlam in Blairstown” Fall Fest, and “Jingle on Main” Winter Fest on our project pages.

"B" for Beautification!

“B” for Beautification! The BEC Beautification Project Team lead by Pat Kennedy is always looking for new ideas about how to make Blairstown even prettier than it is. Whether by a spring clean up project, or landscaping effort, or even a fresh coat of paint, the Beautification Project Team is ready to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Have an idea? Share it!

"E" for Economy

The BEC Business Champions project has a strong focus on promoting the local economy by bringing together the regional business community through networking functions such as business card exchanges, “Monday Mixers,” webinars, and live seminars that offer members the chance to socialize and develop new business contacts.

"C" for Community

Let’s have some fun together! A community that plays together stays together.  🙂  The BEC is now the sponsor of Jingle on Main, and is working on a plan to bring back the “Bed Races” to the historic downtown this October for a fall festival.

From the Community

I love to jump in and get involved in meaningful projects. Go BEC!

Living in a rural area makes it hard for organizations and people to connect. Thank you BEC for bringing us together.

Your meetings are always welcoming and invite input from the community.

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.
– MARGARET MEAD (1901 – 1978)
