Blairstown is home to Blair Academy one of the leading coeducational private boarding and day school for students in ninth through twelfth grade. Founded in 1848, the school is situated on a 463-acre hilltop campus. Amid a caring, vibrant community, 460 students pursue a superior college preparatory education and explore their passions through myriad co-curricular activities. Strong faculty-student relationships lead to exceptional learning and empower students to become persons of great accomplishment and character.
Its facilities include many beautiful, longstanding buildings dating from its 1848 founding, as well as modern, state-of-the-art structures, such as Armstrong-Hipkins Center for the Arts and the Chiang Center for Innovation and Collaboration. The campus also features excellent athletic venues, including a nine-hole golf course, 10 tennis courts, an all-weather track, and golf training facility.
The Blair community is enriched by its ongoing, relationship with the surrounding community, and partners with local schools and organizations on numerous occasions throughout the year, including Memorial Day and Blair’s Day of Service.
