Website | Lambert Road Blairstown, NJ 07825

What began as a small idea in November 2010 has finally turned into a reality. With a land donation from the township, the Blairstown Dog Park is a large, 1-acre fenced in area where people can bring their dogs to socialize and run off leash. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, it is completely funded and run by volunteers and generous donations. Open to anyone, members must first complete a membership form and show proof of license and vaccines. A membership fee also applies.

Footbridge Park

Footbridge Park is a good spot for taking a break or exploring the town. Walk the historic Footbridge Bridge, which John Insley Blair presented to the citizens of Blairstown on August 22, 1893 to commemorate his 91st birthday. A large parking area makes this an informal trailhead for the rail-trail. The trail crosses the Paulinskill several times over the next 4.5 miles. Upon reaching Stillwater Road, the stream and the trail diverge, and the trail enters a wooded wetland.
